MEDICARE ADVANTAGE MEETINGS

The Medicare Advantage meetings held in the State from 10/1 to 11/22 are over. By the numbers:

47 meetings
36 locations
7300+ retirees attending
6 Blue Cross/Blue Shield reps
3 Employee Benefits reps
2 SERA reps

There are still 4 meetings to go in Arizona (12/2 & 12/3). 8 meetings to go in Florida (12/9 to 12/12). They are expecting about 1200 total retirees attending meetings in those states. Overall the meetings were well attended and all questions/concerns were answered/resolved. Individual question were handled by Blue Cross or Employee Benefits. Both Cheryl Streberger and I distributed brochures/applications to retirees at the meetings we attended.
